Are you the official photographers of the Venice Film Festival?
No. Visual Twins is an independent photo and video studio working on the Lido during the festival days. We are not affiliated with La Biennale di Venezia and we are not an official festival partner. We are hired directly by talents, designers, jewellery maisons, agencies and brands who want their own coverage of the evening.
What exactly do I get, and when?
Stills and motion are two distinct services and you can book either or both. A first selection of retouched photos is delivered the same night, in time to post while the evening is still running; the full set follows. Video comes as raw clips and, if you want it, an edited vertical reel.
When are you on the Lido in 2026?
2-11 September 2026. The festival itself runs 2-12 September 2026: we cover 10 red carpet nights and 43 premières inside that window, and we say so plainly rather than sell an evening we are not there for.
How do I find my own photos afterwards?
Through VT Media, our delivery platform. You open the event gallery, upload a selfie, and face search returns the frames you appear in — instead of scrolling thousands of images or waiting for someone to send a folder. Buying a photo, a clip or an edited reel happens in the same place.
Can you shoot for a fashion or jewellery brand dressing a talent?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do in Venice. The brief is different from covering a person: the look has to read, the jewellery has to be legible in close-up, and the material has to arrive in time for the brand's own channels that same night. Tell us the talent, the night and the deliverables.
Do you work outside the red carpet as well?
Yes. Around the premières there are dinners, parties, brand activations, portraits at the hotel and arrivals by water. Those are often where the content a brand actually uses comes from, and they are booked as part of the same evening.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, and the calendar below is the reason: an evening is either free or it is not. Slots are limited because we cover each night ourselves rather than sending a rotating crew.
